Silvermat Silver Bars

Silvermat’s hallmark is a fleur-de-lis over a big letter “S” — you can’t miss it. The ingots date to the 1980s (one reference book pins them to 1986), in 1, ~5, and ~25 oz sizes. Collectors have documented five variations; the ones stamped “1 troy oz” should weigh a full ounce, while unmarked versions can run a touch light.

Top example is a 4 oz odd weight and bottom is a 5 oz odd weight.
Great little bars. Nice reverse pic of the 1st gen Silvermats.
Note the 2nd generation has the full name stamped out.
Reverse pic.
Weight stamp on side, with nice pour cracks on side.
